It is rainy and cool in the midwest this morning. Instantly it reminds me of fall! Are you ready? Since it is rainy, today might be a good day to take inventory. Your purple and green hues will be big again this year. Metallics are here to stay for another season and don’t forget about your leathers and suedes. Large handbags will still be on trend and don’t forget the lace. Lacey feminine details are going to be huge this fall.

As you have previously read, I pay a lot of attention to the handbags and accessories that women carry and choose for themselves. I love handbags and accessories! The last several days have been enlightening for me. As I have stated before, I live in Coach heaven. Coach is everywhere here. But lately, D&G has been making an appearance. Everything from sunglasses to handbags. Who would have thought Coach would have some competition?

Summer is starting to wind down and all the fashion designers are starting to release their line-up for fall 2008. Grey is going to be huge again this year. For accent colors look to mustard green and fuchshia pink. Lace and ruffles will be the fashionable gals choice for the season. Also don’t forget your python handbags and accessories. When choosing your new designer handbag, keep in mind all the latest trends for the new season!

Why spend your hard earned money on an authentic Designer Handbag? Have you ever been out and about and seen a gal with a nice designer handbag and said to yourself ” that is a nice handbag”? Then a day or two goes by and you find yourself at the local discount store in the handbag aisle trying to find the knock off that looks like that handbag you had seen a day or two before.  You purchase the one that looks similar and within a few months that new handbag is worn out, the colors are fading or the imitation leather is coming apart. My neice recently came back from New York carrying her new “Prada” purse she paid $50.00 dollars for from a street vendor. I regretted to inform her that it was a fake. The material used to make this purse was of very poor quality as compared to a real Prada or any other well known designer brand. Although the impulse to buy such an item is great because of the price, remember you get what you pay for. Also if you are going to carry a Prada; carry an authentic Prada Handbag. I recently had to travel out of state to Kentucky. I took noticed of every gal that I seen on the way and took note of what kind of handbag she was carrying. As usual, it was Coach that won by a landslide! As I have stated before, Coach is big in my little neck of the woods here in Ohio and from what I seen it is big in Kentucky as well!

 I live in a small rural farm area. We have our fashion like everyone else but mainly we see a lot of Coach and Dooney & Bourke handbags. Just the other day, I was at a Little Leaugue Baseball Tournament with my family in our local town. I am walking past the concession stand and look over as this stylish older woman walks by in capris and a tank top supporting her Prada Handbag!  How chic! Who says there is not a Prada Handbag for every occasion?
